About Claire
I have enjoyed many years of rallying all over the world and have experienced some amazing places along the way but I always look forward to coming home. I’m very proud to say I am a Geordie. I grew up in Northumberland where the scenery really does take your breath away. My favourite place in the whole world is Bamburgh Beach in North Northumberland. To me nowhere else comes close to beating the stunning long white sandy beach with majestic Bamburgh Castle keeping watch over it. It’s just beautiful!
For over 20 years Berwickshire has been my home. Bordering Northumberland, it too is a beautiful county graced by the River Tweed. Home for The Mole House though is a few miles further up the Tweed in the lovely town of Kelso. Set around a large town square and cuddled by the Tweed itself, Kelso oozes charm and character. Its cobbled streets are lined with unusual shops and it was always my dream that it would be Kelso where I would open my first shop.
I’ve always enjoyed drawing, painting, art, antiques and interior design. I have a true love of animals. I love visiting new places, experiencing different cultures and making new friends. I hope to combine all of these passions in my new shop and I hope you enjoy them too.
